Repeat Prescriptions

pills_2If you receive regular treatment, you may complete the repeat slip attached to your last prescription or put your request in writing ensuring that you put your name, address and date of birth on the letter.  We regret we cannot accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone.

Requests received at the practice will usually be ready within 48 hours (excluding Bank Holidays & Weekends).  Due to the busy nature of morning surgeries we request that repeat prescriptions are picked up after 2:00pm where possible.  Additionally, if you are telephoning to enquire if your prescription is ready, we politely request this call be made after 2:00pm.

You can post your prescription request to the surgery and if a stamp addressed envelope is enclosed we will return this to you.  Please ensure you leave enough time to account for the postal service.

You will notice on the bottom of repeat slips your review date. You must arrange an appointment with a nurse, or doctor, for the monitoring of your condition, and to check that your conyinuin medication is appropriate.

Repeat prescriptions past the review date will not be issued.
