Hucknall Road Medical Centre is a Training Practice. The Practice Team is committed to delivering quality education and training programmes to various personnel. This includes medical and college students, G.P registrars, foundation doctors and nurses.
All Practice Staff and GP’s contribute to their educational and training needs.
The training programmes may involve training personnel sitting in your consultation or working within the Practice environment.
If for any reason you wish to express any concerns, please alert of member of the Practice Team.
We have over 12,300 patients registered at the Hucknall Road Medical Centre.
We are an 8 partner training practice with additional salaried doctors, nurses and a team of dedicated non-clinical support staff.
We are based in a modern purpose-built medical centre, opened in July 2000, conveniently situated near the Nottingham University Hospital City campus on Hucknall Road, with vehicle access via Heathfield Road, off Kibworth Close. We have easy access for the disabled and car parking facilities are available at the front of the practice.
Early bird surgeries Doctor appointments are available from 7:00am to 8:00am 3 days a week (usually Tues, Wed & Thurs). These are pre-bookable appointments (booked in advance), via the internet or phone.
Asking for appointment reason When telephoning for an appointment, you will now be asked the reason for your appointment. This is to help us book the correct appointment slot for you. This will hopefully help you to see the correct person first time, and avoid the need for additional appointments.

Our phonelines do not open until 8:00am.
No Smoking Premises
Our premises are non-smoking - smoking is not permitted in the building, the grounds or the car park
Internet Appointment Booking To register for the facility of booking your future doctor appointments over the internet, please ask at reception for your personal password document when you are next in.
